      URGENT ATTENTION REQUIRED              

 

            Dear Friends and Colleagues,

 

As the 2006 ICMART Congress / AAMA Symposium is soon upon us, we wish to inform you of various items that are important to communicate and will serve ICMART and Medical Acupuncture well in coming years.

 

ICMART has evolved from a small organization in recent years to now include participant Societies from around the globe. With our increased membership and international reputation and responsibilities, we must now operate in more formal administrative manners. These changes will serve the organization well while we continue to be a very collegial and friendly organization.

 

The Board has unanimously agreed that we may no longer ignore the deficiencies in dues payments. From this year forward, all societies will need to submit their 2006 dues (and 2005 dues, if delinquent) no later than 31 March 2006 in order to be continued as member societies, to be included on the new ICMART Brochure or to serve as Director or Officers for ICMART.

 

We will begin now to send you a notice for your dues in January and ask that they be received in a timely manner and certainly no later than March 31st.

 

Also, we hope you and many of your colleagues will be attending the Congress in April. We have a great program and this is a beautiful time of the year to be in Washington , D.C. We still have opportunities for Free Oral Paper, Poster Presentation and Research Papers submissions. The deadline is to be January 31st.
